There is also a fairy tale train where children can experience the most interesting content from Astrid Lindgren's books. In addition to Villa Villekulla and the fairytale train, you can also see the Lionheart brothers reunite in Nangijala and experience Madicken jumping from the roof with her umbrella. In other words, Junibacken is a place for fairytale experiences.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Aspudd Park<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This park is one of Stockholm's largest and if you and your child love animals, this is definitely a place to visit! Because here you will find lots of animals and also pony rides.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Skansen<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Skansen is an example of an ideal place for families with children to visit. As well as having a wide range of animals, you can also feed animals such as cats, pet goats, watch the seal feeding and even experience singing and musical performances. There is also a playground called \"Squirrel Park\" where children can play. There is also a mini funfair, pony rides and the Skansen Aquarium, which you can visit in Skansen, but it costs extra and has a different entrance fee. In addition to Skansen, there are several fine zoos around and outside Stockholm.<\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><b>Gardens and nature<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Stockholm also has a fine selection of gardens and nature reserves:<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Bergian Garden<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you are interested in discovering beautiful gardens in Stockholm then you should visit the Bergian Garden which is a botanical garden located in Frescati on Norra Djurg\u00e5rden. They also have a very nice caf\u00e9 in the orangery worth visiting if you or the kids get hungry for coffee!<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Hellasg\u00e5rden<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At Friluftsg\u00e5rden Hellasg\u00e5rden you can do everything from cycling, canoeing, sauna, swimming and even play bangolf. You can also rent a cottage and explore the farm even more and start the day with breakfast in Sj\u00f6caf\u00e9et right next to the cottages.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Tj\u00e4derstigen<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tj\u00e4derstigen is an adventure trail, south of Stockholm, in Tyresta National Park. It is a permanent trail that children never get tired of! The trail is 1.3km long with climbing nets, balance beams, small suspension bridges, caf\u00e9s and other exciting things along the way. Before you start the hint round, there are pens and halves on loan for the children to fill in their answers. The questions are related to the surroundings and there are three answer options to choose from. After filling in all the answers, a code word will be generated from all the correct answers. The children will also receive a diploma to take home if you hand in the code word at Naturum in Tyresta National Park. It's good to know that prams unfortunately cannot be used on some parts of the trail, so it's a good idea to bring a harness, for example.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><b>4H farms<\/b><\/h2>\n<h3><b>H\u00e5gelbyarken<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">H\u00e5gelbyparken is a public park for everyone and has many activities for both young and old. They have, among other things, a 4H farm where there are horses, goats, sheep, cats, rabbits, chickens, and mini pigs. The park also has a discovery trail called the Squirrel Trail where children can run, balance, and solve different puzzles in nature. Besides that, they have a playground, caf\u00e9, birdhouses, children's theatre, traffic games, and much more!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Bj\u00f6rklunds Hage<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is another example of a place for those who love animals, as it is a 4H farm located in Bromma that has many animals such as goats, pigs, rabbits, chickens, and bees.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Stora Skuggans 4H farm<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you haven't had enough of 4H farms, you can also visit Stora Skuggan, a 4H farm located in the centre of Norra Djurg\u00e5rden. In addition to animals, you can also attend animal courses for young children and pony riding.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><b>Museum\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Stockholm has many interesting and fun museums worth visiting with children and here are some of the most visited museums in Stockholm:<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Technical Museum<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Technical Museum is a museum that fascinates both children and adults with its varied programme. The basement of the Technical Museum has entertainment that is most appreciated by babies in the crawling age and preschoolers. They also have rooms for Play beyond play, which is an exhibition of computer games, and is an entertainment appreciated by people of all ages. The museum also has several other interactive exhibitions for children to explore and try out for themselves.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>The National Museum of Natural History<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Natural History Centre has free admission to all its permanent exhibitions and offers a very good variety. They have many interactive elements where children can touch and discover and there is also a creative workshop which is not free. Apart from that, there are dinosaur skeletons, stuffed animals and film screenings at Cosmonova. Cosmonova is a huge cinema and planetarium in the museum that offers grand experiences with films shown on a giant dome-shaped screen. You can see everything from space films to nature films and planetarium shows.
