Q: Do you offer childcare in my city?

Hey Kiddo has had nannies throughout Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö and Uppsala for several years. However, we are growing so fast and now we are also in Västerås, Örebro, Helsingborg and Linköping. We have the opportunity to help in almost all of Sweden so whether you live in a city where we already exist or not, we are happy to help! For you as a customer, the process is completely free of charge regardless, but may take an extra week if your request requires a new recruitment. Get in touch with us and we will find a solution!

Hey Kiddo / Hiring your own nanny

If you already have an existing babysitting (a neighbour, cousin or similar who is paid in cash) we can employ them on Hey Kiddo! Your nanny will undergo our CPR training and be covered by our insurance. Working at Hey Kiddo is perfect on The CV and your nanny can earn their very first white salary, with pension security to boot!

Jobs are nanny only occasionally do we help them to tax equalisation and as a customer you get pull off 50% in RUT deductions. We pay employer contributions and VAT, of course, but With the RUT deduction, we can actually compete against undeclared work even on price. NIf you as a customer come to us with your nanny, we do not have to in addition recruitment, and matching costs. We already have brown pricesbut for those of you who come to us with your own nanny, we can reduce the price even further!

When you hire your nanny through us receive convenient monthly invoices by email and can pay by direct debit. Thanks to the RUT deduction, we at Hey Kiddo can make the calculation go round and everyone is a winner!

Then, when your nanny goes on a round-the-world trip, we are ready and able to find a replacement.

The requirements we set for your nanny to be employed by us are:

They must pass our background check (i.e. not be convicted of a criminal offence)
They have to go our CPR training at the Kungsholmen office

We believe in 100% transparency!

The starting salary for your nanny is normally between 110-135 SEK/h and then rises up to 175 SEK/h according to our salary scale, based on hours worked and the age of the nanny. If you want to pay your nanny a higher salary directly, we can organise this, but your hourly rate will also be higher. Please contact us for an exact price.

How much does babysitting cost?

Hos Hey Kiddo börjar priset på 179 kr/h för ett fast abonnemang och 299 kr/h för sporadisk hjälp. Priset beror på hur ofta och hur många timmar ni behöver – ju mer regelbunden hjälp, desto lägre timpris. Alla priser är inklusive allt, inga dolda avgifter eller påslag för kvällar och helger. When can you leave your baby with a babysitter?

When you feel ready to leave your baby with a babysitter is individual. We offer babysitting for children from 2-3 months and up. The majority of the families we help with nannies have babies aged 2 months-1.5 years. contact us on Hey Kiddo and we'll tell you more.

What is a nanny?

Vad innebär hämtning från förskola med barnvakt?

Hämtning från förskola innebär att en barnvakt hämtar ditt barn vid avtalad tid, följer med hem och tar hand om barnet tills du är tillbaka. Hos Hey Kiddo är det alltid samma barnvakt som sköter hämtningen, så barnet känner igen personen och vet vad som väntas.
