Looking for inspiration for healthy snack for children? Why not skip the micro-pirogs and make a nutritious cake instead. Baking with the kids is a popular activity for babysitters and what better way than to make your own snack, which is both healthy and a fun activity. Let us introduce you to the best snack foods:
Banana bread

Ingredients
3 ripe bananas
2 dl yoghurt or skimmed milk
2 dl of oatmeal
4 dl flour
2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
A little salt
A little honey if you want more sweetness
Accessories:
Large pile
Loaf tin, alternatively muffin tins
Decilitre measurements
Something to touch, such as a wooden spoon
This is how you do it:
Start by switching on the oven at 200 degrees. Grease the tin with butter so that the cake doesn't stick. Mix the flour, oats, bicarb and salt in a bowl. Peel and mash two of the bananas, saving the last one for the topping. Stir in the skimmed milk and honey, if using. Then pour the batter into the mould, making sure it is smooth. Peel the last banana and cut it in half to top the cake. You can also top the cake with seeds, coconut and cinnamon, for example. Let the cake bake for about 45-50 minutes.
Take the cake out and enjoy! You can cut it like a loaf of bread and spread it with jam, apple sauce or peanut butter.
