How much does childcare cost?
The price of a nanny varies depending on how often and how many hours you need help from your babysitter. But roughly from 140 - 200 SEK per hour after RUT deductions. To get a more accurate price quote and see what suits your family best, contact us at Hey Kiddo and we will tell you more.
From what age can you have childcare?
When you feel ready to leave your baby with a babysitter is individual. We offer babysitting for children from 2-3 months and up. It is common to hire a nanny when you as a parent of a baby do not get enough sleep.
Can you claim RUT deductions for childcare?
Yes, you get RUT deductions for having childcare. We think that the RUT deduction is a fantastic opportunity for Swedish families with children to get the relief they need when it comes to relief in everyday life through childcare. In addition, we help with all the administration.
Is childcare available throughout Sweden?
We have the most nannies in Stockholm and the surrounding area, Gothenburg and Malmö. In addition, we have nannies in other cities too, but the supply varies. Contact us to find out if we are available in your city.

Are nannies insured in case something happens?
Yes, they are. All our nannies are insured in case something happens.
Are your childcare staff insured?
Our nannies all have unique backgrounds. What they have in common is that they have all undergone CPR training (specialising in children and babies). They have also received comprehensive safety training in-house. In addition, they have of course undergone proper security and background checks.
That said, we employ everyone from trained childminders, to law students and full-time nannies.
