Say Hey to Emeline – a warm, creative and experienced nanny!
Emeline is originally from Toulouse, France, and moved to Stockholm 8 years ago after first working as an au pair. She has since built up extensive childcare experience, both privately and in schools, and is now studying Swedish.
She has worked as an au pair twice – one year in London with a 12-year-old, and one year in Stockholm with three children aged 1.5, 5 and 7. In Sweden she was responsible for everything from diaper changes and school drop-offs to planning fun and age-appropriate activities. She then worked 3.5 years at the French school on Stora Essingen with children aged 6–10, while also being a substitute teacher in a French preschool in Odenplan (ages 1.5–6) . Alongside this, she has done babysitting, homework help, and today she sometimes takes care of her two nieces.
Emeline has experience with children from 6 months and up and is comfortable taking care of several children at once. She is creative and loves suggesting activities such as crafts, drawing, cooking and outdoor play, always adapted to the child’s age and interests. For her, the most important thing is that children feel safe and comfortable, and that she builds a trusting and warm relationship with both them and their family.
Families describe Emeline as responsible, calm and very kind. She is also talkative and social, while knowing how to set gentle but clear boundaries when needed.
