We are here for our customers!
As a customer of a babysitting company, it is perhaps most important that the nanny is really good. A nanny should be committed, responsible and have the right training in CPR in case of an accident. All of these are, of course, hygiene factors that just have to be in place.
But did you know that there are more people at Hey Kiddo working to make you truly happy? Our experience has taught us that a truly great long-term customer experience requires a lot of care from head office.
We spend a lot of time first finding, hiring, and training the best nannies. We then work hard to match the right family with the right nanny for the long term. Even after your family has started babysitting, we work diligently to ensure everything runs smoothly for you. Here's how we work!
Four key factors for customer satisfaction
1. Professional recruitment
In a typical week, we review up to 200 job applications and interview 30-50 candidates. We look for proven babysitting experience and a responsible, caring personality. Last but not least, we are looking for long-term babysitters. After an interview and background check, we hire around 15 babysitters each week. After induction training covering everything from child development and family communication to pediatric CPR, our babysitters are ready to go to work.
2. Your own contact person
At Hey Kiddo, we believe in personalized childcare that meets your needs. To maintain a high quality of service, you, as a customer, will have a personal 'Client Manager' at the head office. To avoid misunderstandings and the feeling of speaking to different people each time, Hey Kiddo assigns a primary contact person. If you have questions or concerns, you can turn to your contact person, who is there to help you get the most out of the childcare. If your contact person is sick or on holiday, another colleague can, of course, assist you.
Your contact person is with you every step of the way - from your first sales call - to the presentation of the nanny - to the follow-up once you are up and running.
3. Quality at every stage
To ensure that your nanny is the right fit for your family, we have several steps in the process. The first step is a presentation from your contact person, where you will have the opportunity to approve or decline the candidate we believe will best help you. If you accept the candidate, the next step is for the nanny to make initial contact by phone, and you can then book a first meeting. The first meeting is free of charge, offering you the chance to get to know your nanny a little better and ensure that they are the right fit for your family. After the first meeting, your contact person will call you to check how it went and discuss the next steps.
As soon as the nanny has completed the training, the babysitter is ready to start working with a family. First, we consider the placement location, times, and experience. For example, the nanny may need previous experience in looking after several children. We also try to match the children's personalities and interests with those of the babysitter.
4. Feedback and follow-up
During the service, you will receive updates from your nanny, and feedback is very important to us. Just let us know if there is anything that isn't working well during the babysitting, and if you'd like to share some positive feedback with your nanny, that is also greatly appreciated. Every month, we choose the 'Nanny of the Month,' and feedback is incredibly valuable.
What happens if my nanny leaves?
We always strive to arrange a long-term solution for you if that is your wish, but things happen, and sometimes your nanny may leave during the service. Your personal contact person will then find a new nanny until the previous nanny's notice period has expired. After the first meeting with your new nanny, we will follow up as usual to ensure that the nanny is a good fit for you.
