Do not forget that dspend time with the children!
It comes as no surprise when we hear that sedentary behaviour is increasing. We sit in front of the computer, the mobile phone, TV´n, paddan and at the same time training has been cancelled for a while on because of the pandemic. But this does not mean that and should stop moving! Quite the opposite, says Swedish Championship winner in rhythmic gymnastics Ellen Kastensson, now more than ever and upp and dance with the children.
How can we move more?
In does not have to run a two-hour longt training session to feel that you have moved. Instead, you can focus on the short and explosive moments of movement in everyday life. Together with the nanny/babysitter, you can set getting up and moving.
- I dance when I cookedI do the dishes, I clean, I even dance when I'm studying! Says Ellen.
Ellen started with rhythmic gymnastics already wide seven years of age and working today as a trainer for other dancers. For Ellen, training has been more than just a leisure activity, she declares that the dance made her happier, more alert and generally increaset her concentration, something she also labelling on their gymnasts.
- "It's like there's an immediate difference, from having a bad day to feeling great just after dancing for a little while," she says.
Men best of everything is that you can express yourself.
- When you dance, you can express your feelings without having to talk. If you are happy, sad, angry, everything can come out with the dance.
Ellen says that when she trains with her gymnasts trip the on choosing music and usedhe sig of songs to set the right mood. With the babysitter you can you do it same, and also try that come up with their own choreographies that or can show off to others.
Tips from the nanny:
Take turns choosing the music.
Run dance games: dance stop, the storms of the whole sea .
Try dancing when you're doing other things, baking, drawing, playing; dancing can be done at any time.
Make up your own dance to showcase.
